Calling all New Hanover County nonprofits: Applications are open for Work on Wilmington 2022!

Work on Wilmington is an annual, all-hands-on-deck community service day that mobilizes over 1,000 volunteers to tackle projects for local organizations. On April 23, 2022, community members will volunteer for 4 hours to complete approximately 30 projects across our community.

If you are a (nonreligious) nonprofit, governmental organization, or school in New Hanover County and have a project you need a hand with, apply for consideration today! Applications will be accepted through Monday, October 18, 2021. Eligible projects must have tangible benefits and must be completed in a half-day by volunteer workers. Past projects include landscaping, painting, and clean-up, but any project that meets our criteria and delivers a lasting value to the community will be considered.

All public health recommendations will be followed relating to COVID-19 to ensure the safety of volunteers during the Work on Wilmington service day.

Applications may be submitted online at this link: www.wilmingtonchamber.org/form/view/24095

Work on Wilmington is organized by Leadership Wilmington, a civic leadership development program of the Greater Wilmington Chamber Foundation.
