Emma Ericksen is the Digital Marketing and Events Coordinator for the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce. She supports the VP of Marketing & Communications and the Director of Programs & Initiatives with the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce's messaging strategies, digital communications, marketing, and event coordination. Prior to working at the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce, Emma spent a year and a half working as an Account Coordinator at Pioneer Strategies, a public relations firm in Leland, NC.
At the chamber, Emma plays an integral role in promoting, planning, and executing events such as our ribbon cuttings, seminars, monthly networking mixers, and major annual events through digital, industry, and local networks. Emma will also be assisting with event planning, logistics, and guest registration. She has a passion for understanding someone’s message and displaying it to the public in a creative way.
Emma received her B.A. in Communication Studies while focusing on Integrated Marketing Communication at UNCW in 2020. She is certified in building WordPress webpages, a member of PCYP, and serves on the communications committee for the Public Relations Society of America N.C. Chapter.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending her time at Wrightsville Beach, relaxing and having fun with her friends and family.
