SUMMARY:2023 - Intentional Collisions Presented by Patriot Roofing Company LLC
DESCRIPTION:Intentional Collisions is a program of the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce in partnership with our minority business councils with a goal of bringing people together who may not interact in everyday life. We will intentionally collide you during a fun evening of connecting and building relationships.\n\n\n\nThe redevelopment of the Coca-Cola building is an example of economic development and historic preservation in our community. Another opportunity for something similar is for the oldest continually owned building just down the street\, the Giblem Lodge. There are plans to convert the first floor of the Giblem Lodge to commercial space and turn the second floor into a museum and/or library. What would you dream up for that space? Did you know it's the second oldest black masonic lodge in the state?\n\n\n\nIntentional Collisions this month will take place at the former Coca-Cola Bottling facility that now houses several businesses including our sponsor\, Patriot Roofing Company\, LLC. We will enjoy bites and sips from the cash bar and meet the tenants in the building. In order to receive a complimentary beverage\, you will join your Intentional Collisions group for a walk down the block for a tour of Giblem Lodge with a mason and a member of the Historic Wilmington Foundation. Hear some of the history of this special building and provide your input on what this space could be for our community. \n\n\n\nThis event is FREE and open to members and non members\, but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. *Free street parking can be found surrounding the Coca-Cola building.
