DESCRIPTION:This event is only open to current Leadership Wilmington Alumni Council members or graduates of the Leadership Wilmington program.\n\n \nServing on a board of directors can be a fulfilling way to get involved\, give back\, and grow professionally. This session will help you maximize those experiences\, whether you're thinking about serving for the first time or have been working with nonprofits for years. Participants will learn about the role of a board of directors and how that changes as an organization evolves. You'll also be introduced to QENO's framework for nonprofit development\, an innovative alternative to traditional strategic planning. It is currently being used by numerous organizations both internally and as a way to strengthen collaboration with partners. You'll hear from current board members about their experiences and how they are rethinking the future of nonprofit leadership. \n\n\nLunch will be provided so registration is required.
