Our programs will offer high-value learning opportunities\, facilitate the exchange of expertise\, and address the critical business challenges faced by women entrepreneurs. Through targeted initiatives\, we aim to strengthen the regional economy by supporting the scalability and sustainability of women-owned businesses.\n\n\n\nWe hope you will join us on MARCH 6\, 2025 at 10am as we learn about the importance of Cyber Security. Presentation: Cybersecurity State of the Industry for Small and Mid-Sized Businesses. \n\n\nBo Wheeler is the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for CloudWyze\, Headquartered in Wilmington\, NC. CloudWyze designs\, builds\, and manages secure IT solutions for small\, mid-sized\, and enterprise companies. \n\n\n\nDuring his 35-year career\, Bo has held executive positions with Verizon (Managing Director\, Professional Security Services) and Cisco (Head of Global Security Growth Strategy). He has also developed revenue growth\, product development\, and channel distribution strategies for multiple boutique IT and cybersecurity firms throughout the U.S. \n\n\n\nBo has professional certifications in information security (CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and risk management (HITRUST CCSFP Certified Cyber Security Framework Practitioner). \n\n\n\nBo will be sharing his perspective on the state of the industry relative to IT and security risk for small and mid-sized businesses. \n\n\nMembership in this council is exclusively open to women business owners who are current members of the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce. It is important to note that the Women Business Owners Council is not designed as a start-up incubator\, general networking group\, mentorship program\, or sales platform. Southeastern North Carolina already offers robust resources in these areas.
