DESCRIPTION:Good Shepherd Center is thrilled to host the second annual Good Neighbors Gathering on Saturday\, September 13th from 5 8 PM at Azalea Station in Wilmington's Cargo District. This vibrant evening will feature a curated menu by Circa 1922\, music from The Fuzzy Needle\, local drinks\, and a lively silent auction all in celebration of community and in support of neighbors in need.\n\nFor more than 40 years\, Good Shepherd Center has been a safety net for individuals and families facing hunger and homelessness in the Cape Fear region. Last year alone\, we served over 131\,000 hot meals\, provided more than 38\,000 total nights of safe shelter\, and helped 208 adults and children move into permanent housing. Behind each of those numbers is the story of an individual and the kindness of neighbors who chose to step in and help.\n\nGood Neighbors Gathering is one of our most meaningful community events of the year\, bringing people together not only to enjoy an unforgettable night but to invest in resources to aid our neighbors in crisis. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are now available on our event website\, offering a way for everyone to join in whether as a guest\, a sponsor\, or both.
