DESCRIPTION:The Wilmington Chamber's Public Policy Committee monitors and advises the Chamber on legislative and regulatory issues at the local\, state\, and federal levels and promotes the interests of our membership. \n\n \n\nIn February\, the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce invites our members to join us for an opportunity to hear firsthand from the candidates pursuing elected positions on the New Hanover County Board of Education prior to the primary election on March 5.\n\n \n\nThe following Democratic candidates will be participating in our candidate forum:\n\n \n\nJerry Jones\, Jr.\n\nJudy Justice\n\nTim Merrick\n\nCynthia Munoz (Dropped out)\n\n \n\nThe following Republican candidates will be participating in our candidate forum:\n\n \n\nNikki Bascome\n\nKimberly McDuffie Murphy (Absent)\n\nDavid Perry\n\nAubrey Tuell\n\nNathosa Tew\n\n\n\nATTENDANCE & COST\n\n\n\nThere is no cost to attend.
