DESCRIPTION:The next Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday\, April 25\, from 8:30 9:45 am at the chamber office downtown.\n\n \n\nThe purpose of this committee is to monitor legislative and regulatory matters at the local\, state\, and federal levels and advocate for the business interests of our diverse membership.\n\n \n\nFor the April meeting\, we are delighted to welcome UNCW Chancellor Aswani Volety and Mark Lanier\, Assistant to the Chancellor and Assistant Secretary to the UNCW Board of Trustees\, as our guest speakers. Attendees can expect to learn more about ongoing projects and future initiatives at UNCW.\n\n \n\nThe meeting will occur at the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce\, 1 Estell Lee Place\, Wilmington\, NC 28401. To enter\, please go through the gate on the left side of the building facing the Cape Fear River. Guests may park in our parking lot or at the Wilmington Convention Center parking deck.\n\n \n\nWe understand that some guests may be unable to join us in person\, so we are offering a virtual option for attendance at no cost to members of the Wilmington Chamber. These meetings are not open to nonmembers.
