DESCRIPTION:The next Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday\, July 25\, from 8:30   9:45 am at the chamber office downtown.\n\n\n\nThe purpose of this committee is to monitor legislative and regulatory matters at the local\, state\, and federal levels and advocate for the business interests of our diverse membership.\n\n\n\nJohnny Griffin\, the Director of the Wilmington Film Commission\, has been confirmed as a speaker. He will discuss various aspects of the film industry\, including the grant program and the current state of the industry. The Wilmington Regional Film Commission plays a crucial role in marketing the distinctive resources available in southeastern North Carolina to the production industry.\n\n\n\nThe meeting will occur at the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce\, 1 Estell Lee Place\, Wilmington\, NC 28401. To enter\, please go through the gate on the left side of the building facing the Cape Fear River. Guests may park in our parking lot or at the Wilmington Convention Center parking deck.\n\n\n\nWe understand that some guests may be unable to join us in person\, so we are offering a virtual option for attendance at no cost to members of the Wilmington Chamber.
