DESCRIPTION:The Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce invites members in good standing to attend its next Public Policy Committee meeting on Tuesday\, July 28\, from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. at the Chamber office.\n\n \n\nThis month's program will feature Pam Hardy\, District Manager for Duke Energy. Hardy serves as Duke Energy's lead government and community relations representative across southeastern North Carolina\, working closely with local governments\, economic development organizations\, business leaders\, elected officials\, and community stakeholders throughout Bladen\, Brunswick\, Columbus\, New Hanover\, Pender\, and Sampson counties.\n\n \n\nAs southeastern North Carolina continues to experience significant population and economic growth\, reliable and affordable energy infrastructure remains critical to the region's competitiveness. Hardy will provide Chamber members with an update on Duke Energy's priorities in our region\, including electric grid reliability\, infrastructure investments\, economic development opportunities\, energy policy trends\, and the company's efforts to support growing communities.\n\n \n\nThe Public Policy Committee serves as a forum for Chamber members to stay informed on legislative\, regulatory\, and community issues impacting southeastern North Carolina's business climate and economic competitiveness.\n\n \n\nThis meeting is open exclusively to current Chamber members.
