DESCRIPTION:Join us for the upcoming Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Committee meeting on Tuesday\, August 22\, from 8:30 am to 9:45 am. The meeting will be held at the chamber office located downtown at 1 Estell Lee Place\, Wilmington\, NC 28401.\n\n \n\nThe primary purpose of this committee is to closely monitor legislative and regulatory matters at the local\, state\, and federal levels\, all while passionately advocating for the business interests of our diverse membership.\n\n \n\nWe are thrilled to announce that for the August meeting\, we will have the honor of welcoming the Executive Director of the Wilmington Metropolitan Planning Organization\, Mike Kozlosky\, and the Senior Transportation Planner\, Vanessa Lacer\, for a presentation on the 2050 Cape Fear Metropolitan Transportation Plan.\n\n \n\nIf you plan to attend in person\, please enter through the gate on the left side of the building\, facing the Cape Fear River. Ample parking is available either in our parking lot or at the nearby Wilmington Convention Center parking deck.\n\n \n\nWe recognize that not all guests may be able to join us in person\, and to accommodate everyone\, we are offering a virtual option for attendance. Please note that these meetings are exclusive to members and not open to nonmembers.\n\n \n\nWe look forward to a productive and engaging meeting as we discuss critical policy matters and work together to further the interests of our business community.
