SUMMARY:Public Policy Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Public Policy Committee monitors and advises the Chamber on legislative and regulatory issues at the local\, state\, and federal levels and promotes the interests of our membership. All Chamber members are welcome to attend this meeting. There is no cost to attend. \n\n \n\nThe next Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday\, October 26\, from 8:00 to 9:15 am at the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce office. We will also be offering a virtual option for members of the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce to participate.\n\n \n\nThis month\, our guest speaker will be Anna Beavon Gravely\, Executive Director of the North Carolina FreeEnterprise Foundation which is a non-partisan research organization that works to understand trends and inform decision making. NCFREE is a leader in connecting the dots for North Carolina's political landscape and business growth. Anna will be providing an update on municipal elections for 2021 and primary elections for 2022.\n\n \n\nThe Wilmington Chamber of Commerce office is located at 1 Estell Lee Place Wilmington\, NC 28401. Our guests are welcome to park in our parking lot or at the Wilmington Convention Center parking deck. If you choose to park in the deck\, please let a chamber staffer know to provide you with a complimentary parking voucher. Our main entrance faces the Cape Fear River and is accessed by passing through the gate\n\nto our building's left.
