SUMMARY:Public Policy Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce invites all members in good standing to attend our upcoming Public Policy Committee meeting on Tuesday\, November 25\, from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM.\n\n \n\nThis month\, we have two presentations. First\, we will welcome WMPO Executive Director Mike Kozlosky and Deputy Director Abby Lorenzo to overview the WMPO's recently adopted 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan\, which will guide transportation projects in the region for the next 25 years. Our second presentation looks at the outcomes of the 2025 Election and what those results may signal for our region's future. We will review key takeaways\, shifts in leadership\, and the broader policy landscape emerging from this election. In addition\, we will discuss early indicators and major factors shaping the road to 2026\, including anticipated priorities at the local and state levels\, potential regulatory changes that could affect the business climate\, and issues likely to influence long-term community and economic development.\n\n\n\nThe meeting will be offered both in-person and virtually for your convenience. Please note\, attendance is exclusive to current Wilmington Chamber members.\n\n \n\nWe look forward to your participation as we explore critical policy issues\, strengthen our advocacy efforts\, and continue working together to cultivate a thriving business community.
