SUMMARY:Public Policy Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Public Policy Committee monitors and advises the Chamber on legislative and regulatory issues at the local\, state\, and federal levels and promotes the interests of our membership. All Chamber members are welcome to attend this meeting. There is no cost to attend. \n\n \n\n\nThe next Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday\, December 7\, from 8:00 9:15 am at the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce office.\n\n \n\nThis month\, our guest speaker will be North Carolina State Senator Michael Lee. Michael Lee is a husband\, father of four\, commercial real estate and land use attorney\, and current State Senator for District 9. Michael also has served at the County and State level on public board and is a current and former member of numerous nonprofit boards. In December\, Senator Lee will be providing our committee with an update on the North Carolina state budget and how it will impact southeastern North Carolina.\n\n \n\nThe Wilmington Chamber of Commerce office is located at 1 Estell Lee Place Wilmington\, NC 28401. Our guests are welcome to park in our parking lot or at the Wilmington Convention Center parking deck. If you choose to park in the deck\, please let a chamber staffer know to provide you with a complimentary parking voucher. Our main entrance faces the Cape Fear River and is accessed by passing through the gate\n\n\nto our building's left.
