Work on Wilmington to tackle 30 projects this weekend

WILMINGTON — Hundreds of volunteers will disperse across Wilmington this weekend to help complete over two dozen projects for area nonprofits and schools.

The event takes place on Saturday, Apr. 23, 8 a.m. – noon, with hands-on projects like landscaping, painting to cleaning up areas in need. The mission is to “make Wilmington a better place to live.”

Work on Wilmington started in 2006 and is organized in part by Wilmington Chamber of Commerce to inform, energize, and encourage local and future leaders to work towards a better community.

Volunteers are being accepted through Apr. 21, 11 p.m.; sign up can be accessed here.
