The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce’s 40 Under 40 Awards celebrate young professionals who are shaping the future of our region. Each year, the program highlights leaders under the age of 40 who are making an impact through business, nonprofit work, community service, and innovation across Brunswick, New Hanover, and Pender counties.

Since its launch, the 40 Under 40 Awards have recognized a diverse group of emerging leaders — from nonprofit champions and entrepreneurs to educators and public servants — whose contributions continue to strengthen and inspire our community.

Nominations for the 2026 awards cycle are now closed. Nominations for next year will be accepted in Spring 2027.
