• Public Policy Committee

  • The Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce is the leading voice for business in southeastern North Carolina, advocating for a strong, business-friendly environment at the local, state, and federal levels.

The Chamber actively monitors legislation and works closely with Wilmington City Council, the New Hanover County Board of Commissioners, the New Hanover County Board of Education, the North Carolina General Assembly, and congressional leaders in Washington, D.C. to ensure the interests of the business community are represented in key policy decisions.

Through public policy forums, legislative briefings, and advocacy efforts, the Chamber provides members with opportunities to engage directly with elected officials and stay informed on issues shaping the region’s economic future.

The Public Policy Committee helps guide the Chamber’s advocacy agenda and is open to all Chamber members who want to be involved.
