The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Council (YPC) is focused on engaging and supporting young professionals in their career development and in the local business community. This council serves as a platform for members to connect with other young professionals in their community, build relationships, and develop their professional skills through various events, mentorship programs, and educational workshops.
Participation is open to young professionals in the Greater Wilmington area between the ages of 21 and 40 years old.

2026 Meeting Schedule:
You do not need to be a member of the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce to attend Young Professionals Council meetings.
Participation is open to young professionals in the Greater Wilmington area between the ages of 21 and 40 years old.
We work hard to secure event sponsors to keep participant costs low. We may charge a nominal fee to register for events in the future depending on venue rentals, food and beverage minimums, etc.

Social Gatherings with Impactful Speakers
These events bring young professionals together to connect, learn about our community and economy, and build meaningful relationships. Gatherings feature insights from senior-level business and community leaders, creating space to step outside your routine, hear fresh perspectives, and meet new people. Past speakers have included Laurie Whalin of Novant Health, Dr. Mouhcine Guettabi of UNCW, and Tyler Newman of The Endowment.
