Billy Christ brings a wealth of experience and a relationship-focused approach to his role as Director of Investor Relations at the Wilmington Chamber.
Most recently, Billy spent the last five and a half years serving as a Field Representative for Congressman David Rouzer NC-07. In this capacity, he facilitated field outreach, donor relations, and community engagement across nine counties in southeastern NC. Notably, he played a crucial role in assisting constituents and small businesses in accessing federal resources following events including Hurricane Florence and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Billy's tenure with Congressman Rouzer established him as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to chamber members and stakeholders. Now, as Director of Investor Relations at the Wilmington Chamber, Billy oversees all aspects of investor relations, playing a pivotal role in fostering relationships with prospective and existing members.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Billy enjoys spending time with his wife and golden retriever, indulging in activities like beach outings and paddle boarding.
Billy holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Committed to continuous growth, he actively pursues ongoing education and professional development. Most recently, he completed a certificate program from the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives in Membership & Revenue Development.
