President's Report from Feb 2, 2026

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all our partners, including county emergency operations staff, Duke Energy, Brunswick Electric, NCDOT, Cape Fear Public Utility Authority, City of Wilmington staff, the Wilmington International Airport, and other essential workers for their outstanding work before, during, and after the recent snowstorm. Their dedication, professionalism, and long hours ensure that our community is well informed, protected, and able to return to normal as quickly and safely as possible. While there is still more work to do so businesses and schools can reopen, we are grateful for their efforts in helping minimize disruption. All have demonstrated a strong commitment to public safety and service.
