  • Gray Boone is a seasoned operational administrative professional with a mission to connect, empower, and uplift those around her. Throughout her illustrious career, Gray has honed a variety of key operational skills, including managing top-level executives, coordinating high-profile events, executing logistical projects, and overseeing the day-to-day management of office buildings and properties. Her adeptness with technology enables her to effortlessly navigate the ever-changing digital landscape, allowing her to train others in software products and work applications with ease.

    As the Operations Director at the Wilmington Chamber, Gray plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functioning of our organization. She provides comprehensive administrative support to the CEO, board of directors, and other key stakeholders. Additionally, Gray oversees the day-to-day operations of the Chamber office, managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities with precision and efficiency.

    In her capacity, Gray takes charge of vendor management and review processes, contributing to the Chamber's operational effectiveness. Her responsibilities extend to the critical oversight of the Chamber's technology infrastructure, including software systems and data security measures, ensuring smooth operations and safeguarding sensitive information.

    With a Bachelor of Arts in Human Service from Elon University and over 25 years of diverse work experience, Gray has established herself as a leader in her field. Her professional journey includes roles at Crossroads of NC, MarKraft Cabinets, J&E Carriers, Halo Hoop Sports, Impact Church, New Hanover Regional Medical Center, and Novant Health. Gray's dedication and excellence have been recognized through prestigious awards, including the Jack Barto Employee Fitness Center Member of Excellence award in December 2018 and the New Hanover Regional Medical Center Employee of Excellence award in January 2019.
