The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Advisory Council (YPAC) is focused on engaging and supporting young professionals in their career development and in the local business community.
The YPAC serves as a platform for members to connect with other young professionals in their community, build relationships, and develop their professional skills through various events, mentorship programs, and educational workshops.
By bringing a fresh perspective and new ideas, the YPAC can help shape the chamber's priorities and initiatives, particularly those related to workforce development and the next generation of business leaders.
The 2023 YPAC members includes a group of 23 young professionals selected by chamber staff and board members to serve 1, 2, and 3 year terms. This group has structured meetings for 2023 to include an open forum inviting other young professionals in the region to hear from guest speakers throughout the year.
APRIL MEETING
Our guest speaker this month is Dr. Foust, Superintendent of New Hanover County Schools. He will share innovative approaches in education our school system is taking on and will share new programs and initiatives they are working on. If you have ever wondered how you, as a young professional can get engaged with the future talent and workforce in our community and would like to learn more about NHCS, please plan to attend the April YPAC Open Forum.

Our guests are welcome to park in our parking lot or at the Wilmington Convention Center parking deck. If you park in the deck, please let a chamber staffer know so we can provide you with a complimentary parking voucher.
Our building’s main entrance faces the Cape Fear River and is accessed by passing through the gate to our building's left.
