SBA Honors Wilmington Chamber for Hurricane Florence Recovery Efforts

The Small Business Administration Office of Disaster Assistance presented a certificate of appreciation to the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce for the Chamber’s efforts to aid business recovery after Hurricane Florence. SBA officials said the Chamber’s generosity and support were instrumental in the success of the delivery of the Small Business Administration Office of Disaster Assistance programs to New Hanover County.The SBA set up shop at the Chamber for three months in offices and a board room to open a center with easy access for area businesses to apply for help. SBA staff Mildred “Jeri” Blankenbeck and Gary Davisson present the SBA honor to Member Experiences Manager Lexie Alston.
