• New Wilmington Chamber Board Chair and Treasurer Announced and Four New Members Join the Board of Directors

    Wilmington, NC – The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce announces a new Board Chair, a new Treasurer, and four new members of the Board of Directors who will help support the Chamber's work and strategic plan in 2023.
     
    The Wilmington Chamber Board of Directors elected Stephanie Lanier of the Lanier Property Group as the 2023 Board Chair. Lanier joined the Wilmington Chamber Board in 2017. “I’m honored to serve as Chair of the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors,” said Lanier. “As I reflect on my experience as a board member over the past six years, I am proud of all our progress. I’m excited to embrace the opportunities and potential that the future holds for us in 2023. I look forward to working with our board members, community leaders, and investors to create a thriving, prosperous, and vibrant community for all.” Neal Andrew, President of Andrew Consulting Engineers, will now serve as the Board’s Immediate Past Chair.
     
    Nicolas Montoya, General Manager of the Blockade Runner, joins the Executive Committee as Treasurer of the Board in 2023. As a local hospitality industry leader, Montoya has had the unique opportunity to shape the experiences of many area visitors and contribute to the overall vibrancy of our tourism sector.  
     
    The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce is also pleased to announce the addition of four new members to its Board of Directors. These individuals bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the organization, and we are excited to have them on board. The new members of the Board of Directors are:
     

    • Chakema Clinton-Quintana - VP, Inclusive Small Business at Channel powered by Live Oak Bank
    • John Gillespie - Chief Technology Officer at MegaCorp Logistics
    • Erin Keller - Owner of Turn Key Lifestyle
    • Amanda Miars - Corporate, Estates & Trusts Partner at Murchison, Taylor, Gibson, PLLC
