Tickets are now on sale for the 40 Under 40 celebration presented by StarNews Media and the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.
The 40 recipients, who were announced in August, will be honored at a ceremony Oct. 22 at the Brooklyn Arts Center. Tickets are $30. The evening will include heavy hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. One drink ticket is included with each admission.
To be eligible for the inaugural class of 40 Under 40, nominees had to be younger than 40 years old as of Dec. 31, 2019; live or work in Brunswick, New Hanover or Pender counties; and display a commitment to serving others in the community. A special publication spotlighting each of the honorees will publish in the StarNews on Oct. 23 and be available to preview at the event.
