Open House for the New Hanover Healthcare Career Partnership (NHHCP)

You are invited to attend an Open House for the New Hanover Healthcare Career Partnership (NHHCP) on Tuesday, March 24, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Cape Fear Community College, Union Station – Daniel Hall, 5th Floor.
 
The NHHCP is a regional collaboration between Cape Fear Community College, New Hanover County Schools, the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and the Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce, made possible through the generous support of The Endowment. The partnership was created to strengthen the healthcare workforce pipeline by helping more local students enter and complete healthcare training programs.
 
By aligning education partners and removing barriers that often prevent students from finishing their programs, the partnership is helping prepare the next generation of nurses and healthcare professionals needed to serve our growing community.
 
During the Open House, guests will learn more about several key initiatives supporting student success, including scholarships, wraparound student supports, fellowships, and innovative training programs.
 
Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the Simulation Center, experience Virtual Reality training tools, explore the Z-Space learning environment, and learn more about programs such as the Health Science Academy, Health Talent Alliance, Coastal Community Healthcare Fellowship, and the Drop-in Child Care Center for student parents.
