Chris Hardy is a mission-driven leader and accomplished chamber of commerce executive with nearly two decades of experience strengthening communities across South Carolina and Georgia. Born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and raised in Lugoff, South Carolina, Chris built the foundation of his professional path on a deep commitment to service, economic growth, and workforce opportunity.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Francis Marion University before launching a career that would place him at the forefront of regional business advocacy. Throughout his tenure leading chambers of commerce, Chris has championed initiatives that support small businesses, drive regional competitiveness, and build strong education and workforce development pipelines.
Chris holds multiple professional designations, including the Institute for Organization Management (IOM) credential, the Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) designation, one of the highest honors in the field, and the Certified Chamber of Commerce Executive (CCeC) certification from the Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. These recognitions reflect his extensive expertise, strategic leadership, and long-standing dedication to elevating the chamber profession.
Currently serving as Chief Revenue Officer, Chris brings a results-oriented mindset, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for mission-centered work to every endeavor. Outside of his professional commitments, he enjoys spending time at the beach, playing golf, and hunting.
