• Megan Mullins

  • Megan Mullins serves as Chief Communications Officer for the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce, where she leads the organization’s strategic communications efforts. Her work centers on clearly articulating the Chamber’s priorities, programs, and impact, and ensuring consistent, effective messaging across audiences.

    Mullins oversees communications and marketing for the Chamber’s core initiatives, the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Foundation, and NCCareerCoast.com, a regional talent attraction platform highlighting career opportunities and quality of life in southeastern North Carolina. She plays a key role in shaping messaging across digital, print, and in-person platforms, helping position the Chamber as a credible, trusted voice for the regional business community.

    Mullins is a graduate of Kent State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She is a graduate of the Wilma Leadership Institute (Class of 2021) and Leadership Wilmington (Class of 2025), and is currently participating in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Organization Management. Her work has been recognized nationally by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives through its 40 Under 40 Awards and locally by the Greater Wilmington Business Journal’s WilmingtonBiz 100. In May 2024, she received a Communications Excellence Award from the Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives for her work on the NC Career Coast brand and website.
