As Chief Marketing & Engagement Officer, Mullins has developed strategic communications and member engagement plans that help to connect companies across the Wilmington region with key areas of the Wilmington Chamber's work, including Public Policy, Education & Workforce, Talent Attraction, Small Business Economic Development, and Leadership Development.
In her role, Mullins focuses on cultivating new relationships, engaging with our area's business leaders, generating new revenue, and creating customized engagement plans based on each member's goals for partnership. Mullins also works to increase total investment through membership, sponsorship and branding opportunities, and investments in the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
Mullins also directs the Wilmington Chamber's comprehensive communications, marketing, and public relations strategies to raise the profile of our community and our members with local, regional, and national audiences. Her work has helped to enrich the Wilmington Chamber's brand locally and elevate perceptions of southeastern North Carolina's business climate, investment opportunities, and quality of life with targeted business owners and knowledge workers considering relocating to our community.
Mullins received her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. She has been recognized nationally by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives in their annual 40 Under 40 Awards and in the Greater Wilmington Business Journal's WilmingtonBiz 100 as a Connector in our community.
